Selfless service is opening ourselves up to becoming a vehicle through which God’s work can flow. It is saying, "Oh, Lord, whatever You want, I am Your servant. You can use my hands to do work for You. You can use my feet to do work for You. You can use my body to do work for You. You can use my mind to do work for You. You can use my mouth to do work for You. You can use me anyway You like to have Your work done." Then, we allow ourselves to do that work without wanting any financial or personal gain for that work. We will gain, but it will be a spiritual gain. We will experience joy and bliss from knowing that God is using us to do work.
